How do you test your pricing with customers?
One thing I’ve found useful in soliciting pricing ideas from customer is to provide anchor prices - a high anchor price that is analogous to a current solution the customer is paying for. This is to determine the ‘premium price’. - a low anchor price that also analogous to current pricing for a mass market solution and - a price that covers the cost we’ve invited to produce the solution. Eventual price considerations tend to fall somewhere in the middle as pricing is never perfect.

How can you design solutions that adapt to feedback and changing contexts for social impact?
One thing I’ve found particularly helpful is to spend time with those most closely impacted/are experiencing the problem. Empathy maps are good but empathy developed from engaging with the stakeholders is more powerful. An example is when the founder of a agritech business got us (his investors/board members at the time) to spend time with farmers his technology solution was serving. It revealed nuances of the problem and provided critical context that impacted the eventual product developed.

How can you design solutions that adapt to feedback and changing contexts for social impact?
Critical to this step is to involve the key stakeholders, who will benefit directly from the outcome of the intervention or solution, in coming up with the hypothesis that is being tested. These recipients of the value tend to have ideas or current workarounds that they’ve been using to address the issues being resolved.
