But don’t get inundated with trying to find and curate the right signals, especially for account selection. How much is your CPL? If it’s over $40 then you're doing something wrong. So many martial arts owners think that it’s the targeting and the copy’s fault for getting high CPLs. When in reality that is not the case. It is the creative and offer’s fault. If you have a bad creative, no one will stop scrolling and take the time to look at your ad and will make people seeing your ad trust you less. And if you have a bad offer you’re not going to stick out making yourself look like every other martial arts school. You might be thinking: How do I create a good creative & offer? Record high quality videos of your school and your students training, cut it up in a 30 - 60 seconds clip. Have a voiceover of yourself explaining your offer with some music overlaid after that. Your offer needs to have a low risk, with an easy in, for example a free week trial. So in conclusion, your targeting and copy is not the reason for your high CPLs, but rather it’s creative and your offer. Hope you found this post useful or interesting! Have a good day😀

Since the August Core Update 2024 has started rolling out, HouseFresh.com has been at the forefront of post-HCU recovery. Here’s what I’ve noted: 📈 Significant Rankings Increase: Their rankings have ascended in this update like no other site I’ve encountered. 🔍 Strategic SEO Efforts: Post-HCU, they’ve made substantial progress—elevating their DA from 43 to 58, refining on-page SEO, and enhancing UX. 🏅 Enhanced EEAT: Their Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness (EEAT) have notably strengthened. Interestingly, despite similar efforts, many other sites haven't experienced the same positive trend. 💼Possibly Manual Influence: To me, this recovery for HouseFresh.com appears more manual than algorithmic at this stage, especially given the influential article they published on Google’s HCU. Advanced SEO content writing tip: avoid unclear antecedents! Huh? It's actually quite simple. Unclear antecedents (or ambiguous pronouns) confuse search engines, which can impact rankings. Here are two examples of sentences you'll want to avoid: “The article was on the website, but now it’s missing.” 👉 What’s missing—the article or the website? Use “the article” again to keep it clear. “The team met with the client because they needed help.” 👉 Who needed help—the team or the client? Rephrase to specify. In sum: use Specific Nouns Over “It” or “They.” Clear, precise language also improves reader comprehension and helps Google better interpret the meaning of your content. #seonotebook P.S. love this kind of stuff? It's like a chatbot but it will build apps for you. This quiz was built in 5 minutes with 3 paragraphs of prompting. The next set of apps I built are are complicated, often using OpenAI API. You can even feed it API docs and it will integrate with it. One example of was G2 review miner app. The next set of apps I'm working on are more agentic. I've already seen some amazing apps that are specific, like integrating with Hubspot to take certain actions. Holy Moly
