What do you do if you're a sales professional struggling to adopt new technology?
I would establish a reverse-mentoring opportunity in the workplace. When it comes to new tech, reverse mentoring isn’t just a younger person mentoring an older individual. It’s more of a two-way street, where both employees share experiences and grow together. Also, the pairing doesn’t have to be about age. Instead, the matchup could be a junior employee and a seasoned worker. Pairing a younger mentor with an older mentee forms a bond that leads to increased empathy and respect. When you know someone well, and consider them your friend, you automatically understand and appreciate them more.

How can you align your sponsorship activation with your event's theme?
Does your event even have a theme? Is it fun, engaging and congruent with your brand? The colors, music, backgrounds and imagery of your event need to showcase your theme and the broader effect it has on the audience. Keep it fun and relevant!

What do you do if your sales process becomes too complex to navigate?
Do your processes include a focus on customer wants and needs? Do they involve value building presentations of your products and services? Are your processes designed to create customer satisfaction and do they reflect the higher level of expectations of today’s consumer? Do your team members receive regular training on process improvement?

You’re in charge of virtual training for Sales Operations. How can you make it effective?
Keep it simple to understand, easy to access, and interactive - in bite sized doses that will keep the participants engaged. Offer a variety of speakers, panel discussions that are relevant to the audience. Spice it up - and keep if fun! Your competitors are the streaming services, YouTube, and movies. Keep that in mind.
