State and local government agencies will have to add another project to their long to-do lists: their websites, apps, and kiosks will need to comply with new digital #accessibility rules by 2027. Now is a good time to start auditing your digital properties to ensure: ☑️ Website text and other elements feature strong color contrast ☑️ Alternative text is assigned to every image, including those on social media ☑️ Navigation is possible without a mouse, and gives users an understanding of what field on the screen currently has the cursor ☑️ Digital elements like error messages, popup forms, and mouse hover effects are simple and easily usable by all visitors ☑️ Image-based PDF files are replaced by screen-readable versions ☑️ Videos are clearly captioned Does your IT team already have a full list of projects this year? Ed Gonzales do you perhaps have any videos or documents on Power Automate and pagination? I need to grab the @odata.nextLink as thisnwhat the API uses but to implement it on PA is not the same for me as in Python that I look for that and if it not seen that's the last page.

Let's talk travel policies ✈️ Your organization might have them on a bunch of word docs that have been converted to PDFs. Probably sitting in a SharePoint library in a folder. What if, instead, you had a page on the company intranet titled "Travel" with the following: 💡 Links to the Travel policies 💡 The expense reporting tool 💡 Current travel safety tips from the Safety office 💡 Employee reviews of various hotels, car rental places and more 💡 Travel FAQs 💡 Point of Contact information 💡 Briefing videos that are necessary to watch before traveling to certain countries 💡 Conference information that might be of interest to various employees 💡 A travel calendar showing upcoming business trips I can go on, but I digest. SharePoint can do ALL of this for you. Out of the box. Easily. Wouldn't you prefer this over documents sitting in folders? Yes.You would. Follow for more SharePoint content.
