In this case leaf blower on the whole roof to clear all of the maple tree debris. So when you are wondering if the leadership is putting in the effort, we are with many things in Mind. How do I take care of my Team? How do I hit the budget and time for the customer? And most importantly I need to keep my thoughts in order to accomplish the first two?? Reminder that the view is pretty good but a missed step when you hit the ground from higher up it's hurts you and your Team more. Maintain patience and stay focused on the task at hand. We all know the importance of hard work and dedication in moving our businesses forward. However, it's equally essential to take a moment to slow down and appreciate the simpler things in life. Recently, I had the pleasure of catching up with Matthew Hoelscher, President of Sonsray Machinery, LLC our CASE Construction Equipment North America dealer on the west coast. After a productive meeting, we took the opportunity to unwind at one of his favorite spots in Redondo Beach. It was refreshing to enjoy good food, a cocktail, and engaging conversation that wasn't centered around work. Remember, amidst the hustle and bustle, it's crucial to pause, relax, and connect with friends, colleagues, or even enjoy moments of solitude. “Celebrate the wins.” -Andy Hulsey “Mark every milestone.” -Lorenzo (Lawrence) Perez This past week was a good week. We cleared a significant hurdle on an important project by delivering gas service to a mission critical facility. Seeing the pressure gauge rise, seeing that task completed—nothing beats that moment of accomplishment on a construction job, especially when it’s been hard fought day in and day out like most things are on a jobsite. In that moment I was reminded of advice I’ve been given by two mentors in particular who have helped me grow as a project manager and a leader. Advice that matters so much when you’re in the trenches every day fighting. That sometimes you gotta slow down, pick up your head, and just appreciate every incremental win. Because that’s how you attack every big problem and every big project. Bird by bird, task by task, milestone by milestone. If you don’t appreciate those moments, you’ll burn out. If you don’t get energy from them, you’ll run on empty. I’m so grateful to the people I’ve gotten to work with in this industry. And thanks to them I’ll always remember and always remind every team I’m apart of that it’s important to celebrate every win and mark every milestone. Now, on to the next hurdle. What milestone did you hit today, and how can you stop and celebrate?

Boardwalk pipeline reaches FID with an anchor shipper for 600 MMcf/d Kosci Junction is a proposed greenfield pipeline that would extend east from the existing Greenville Lateral on Texas Gas Transmission (TGT). The pipe would travel 80 miles to Clarke County, MS to an interconnect with Southern Natural Gas (Sonat), and an additional 18-mile segment would deliver gas into the Gulf South mainline near Destin Pipeline. According to the open season documents, Boardwalk is engaged with an anchor shipper for 600 MMcf/d of the Kosci Junction’s 1.5 Bcf/d of capacity. Louisiana LNG is strategically positioned to help address the growing global demand for #LNG. Today, together with #WoodsideEnergy, I signed the amended and restated EPC Agreement for Louisiana LNG. Since construction began in March 2022, we have made substantial progress, with over 15,000 piles installed and critical foundations established in Plant 1. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Woodside to advance this vital project.

DataBank's New 480 MW Data Center Campus in South Dallas In a groundbreaking move, DataBank is supercharging the data center landscape with the development of a massive 480 MW campus in Red Oak, TX! This high-tech campus spans 292 acres and is set to house up to 8 cutting-edge, two-story data centers, offering a total of 3.4 million square feet of prime data infrastructure. The elegance of a closed center floor wrench. Setting design parameters, I asked that the first units be capable of 200k high torque connections before accuracy began to decline, and before the unit needed a major overhaul. Underlying my intentions was my interest in placing these wrenches on MODUs and high spec lateral projects. We were successful on IRAP1 and in the GOM. In essence, MODUs benefited from higher torque and better performance for less space and equal weight. Of course, we could have set design parameters which would have resulted in a much lighter, simpler unit, and there are applications for such a unit. It is very possible, and in some cases preferable, to design for medium duty applications. Such a wrench could outperform a high spec wrench in some cases. Less complex, easier to move and less technical, this design lends itself to simpler repairs and maintenance. Initially, I thought of making the components readily interchangeable, but circumstances prevailed. A hydraulic supplier offered attractive terms, and the design became interwoven with their equipment. Still, it is easy enough to design for the interchange of parts supplied by most respected hydraulic manufacturers. The first units were designed with little in the way of castings. We relied on one machinist as we could keep our “arms around” our IP, and he provided insight into manufacturing ease. Despite this, weight savings are possible and castings are viable. Even machining in bulk, is much more expensive than bulk castings, and there are possibilities for an even smaller footprint and lighter weight designs which are attractive for smaller rigs. Programming on the first units was done by preference, but there are many suitable suppliers of PLCs available, and competitive PLC units can all be programmed to meet the design criteria. Advances in programming make fully automated units readily accessible ending the need for men operating wrenches in the red zone. Increasingly, Drillers are programming “in house", and a custom design lends itself to this kind of collaboration. Flexible, custom designs also facilitate supply chain management. It is straightforward to custom design for specific supply chains, and this is a crucial issue. The shorter the supply chain, the lower the overall cost of operations. New closed center wrenches have put a “stake in the heart” of open center designs. Speed, accuracy, tubular savings, enhanced safety, in effect, pay for these floor wrench designs in short order. Open center wrenches offer delays, tubular deformation and inaccuracies that cause overtorque and cost money. Inherently inelegant, they require frequent, expensive overhauls which drive up costs. The result is that the E&P has higher tubular wear expenses and the driller has higher overall operating costs. The custom closed center design is a “Hemi Cuda" looking in the rearview mirror at a field of rusting open center “Pontiac Tempests".
