    A vast majority of people with disabilities never have the experience of independently riding a conventional two-wheel bicycle during their lifetime. Research shows that over 80% of people with Autism and 90% of people with Down syndrome never experience this thrill. Defying these odds is why iCanBike exists! During this week long adventure, campers are partnered with spotters. By the end of the week, campers are able to ride a two wheel bike with the wind in their hair (or helmet in this…

    Head volleyball coach for girls in the Overland Park, KS area. Teaching the game of volleyball to girls with a wide range of abilities and knowledge of the game. Took them from 9 years old up to their middle school volleyball year.

    I was head coach of a baseball team that took kids from coach pitch through their 15 year old season. Many of the kids were along for the entire ride. Countless hours practicing, playing and teaching life lessons along the way was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Many of the boys I coached are now entering the workforce and are connecting with me on LinkedIn. It is extremely rewarding to know I was a mentor for them along their journey.
