Priority for coordinate data entry
- [Instructor] We're staying in the drawing, FunctionKeys.dwg, and as usual, you can use that to follow along with this particular video. What we're going to have a look at now, is priority for co-ordinate data entry. Now it does sound a bit complicated, there's a variable in AutoCAD that controls it. So what you do is you type, OSNAPCOORD. Now if you haven't got your Dynamic Input switched on, just pop down to the bottom of the screen here, switch it on like so, and put the crosshair back in the drawing area, and the variable name is OSNAP, object snap, COORD, it's the second one there, can you see it there? On the suggestion menu. So if I select that now, it's prompting me for a new value for that OSNAPCOORD variable. Now, there's three values it can have, the default is zero, where the Object Snaps override any keyboard coordinates that may be typed in, so it's always going to override an Object Snap over a co-ordinate, if you set it to one, the keyboard overrides the Object Snap…
