Testing your files before upload

- Before you start uploading a bunch of podcasts, it's a good idea to actually check those files. And chances are, you want to check them on both a computer and a portable media player. I suggest that you keep a few devices around if you really want to make sure things are working. Now fortunately these days, things have gotten pretty standard with file formats and presets. So rarely are you going to run into an issue, but it doesn't hurt to know how things are looking on your device. We've already opened up a file here onto the computer. Just use a media player. You can use something like Apple's Podcast app if you want to check it, or QuickTime Player or Windows Media Player; anything like that so you can see what it actually looks like.
