- Let's talk about some of the benefits of podcasting. Why might you choose this over another method such as a YouTube channel? Or perhaps as a compliment? Podcasting has several benefits. First up, one of the best benefits is the Opt-in audience. The fact that once you get somebody to subscribe they keep getting content and you don't have to worry about expensive management tools or complex email lists. People can simply opt-in and opt-out as they need to. Making you compliant with many different internet acts that ask you to give more control to the end user.
