I had the honor of participating in Georgia Institute of Technology's Second AI and Future of Finance Conference on March 20-21, 2025, in multiple capacities: as an organizing committee member, speaker, and attendee. The conference featured in-depth discussions on the evolution of large language models, the future of generative AI in financial services, and the practical challenges of implementing AI in capital markets. A notable highlight was the special edition of Tech Talks Business, where Dean Anuj Mehrotra engaged in insightful conversations with Andrew Schlossberg, President and CEO of Invesco, and Bill Rogers, CEO of Truist, offering valuable industry perspectives. Beyond organizing and speaking, I gained invaluable insights from fellow experts, enriching my understanding of AI's transformative role in finance.
