I’m very proud to be one of the finalist in ”Årets eldsjäl” (my free translation ”Enthusiast of the year”) for my engagement in Hjärtebarnsfonden, an organisation for children with heart disorder, and their families. There are six kids born with heart disorder, each day in Sweden (in average), most of them survive, some are not. My son has survived thanks to the research that has been made, and the fantastic competence centers we have in Sweden for the children with heart disorder (in Gothenburg and Lund). Hjärtebarnsfonden is contributing to both research and directly to the children/families. We need more research to secure that children with heart disorder survive, we need more support/engagement to ensure that they can live. I’ve understood, much thanks to being a finalist, that my engagement makes a different for some of all the children and their families, I’m very thankful for that. https://lnkd.in/dXatx2Au
