After nearly 5 incredible years, I'm stepping away from Motional (A self-driving car software company, funded by Hyundai Motor Company (현대자동차) and Aptiv) This journey has been nothing short of amazing—packed with so many personal and professional milestones. From nervously resolving my first merge conflict To collaborate on cross-company projects with brilliant minds with big-tech To publish my first research paper, patent, and citation—every moment has been deeply rewarding To date, which scaled to 15+ papers (likes of CVPR and ECCV), 13 patents, and 150+ citations To develop several groundbreaking features that were "firsts" at Motional Also to make my first ever "day in the life" video (https://lnkd.in/gzsmEi6d) But perhaps my proudest moment was ideating, prototyping, and deploying our first transformer approach on cars (https://lnkd.in/gRdjvxuy) To all my colleagues at Motional—thank you for the learning, support, laughs, and unforgettable experiences.
