In one of the first in-depth studies of the impact of GenAI on enterprise workers, Harvard joined MIT and Penn’s Wharton School in investigating the use of generative AI among hundreds of consultants working for the respected Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Ignoring AI reminds me of how our parents resisted ICT saying it will take away jobs? On the contrary, it created more jobs and a digital literacy gap that is still huge a challenge to growing economies. Prioliferation of smartphones and social media has made majority ignore ICT Learning. SMS, Chats, yes you will get, wait till you request for an email response. It is at this point that you get to realize how AI is abused. The oral communication does not match the email text. In other cases, if you have previously read documents from someone, you can detect the tone of their writing’s origination. To maximize on AI you still have to use your brain 💯, and be part of the conversation. You are the craftsman, AI is the tool. Not the doer.
