Surprisingly, 88% of supply chain executives feel that their C-suite sees the #supplychain as a cost center rather than a strategic asset. EY's latest survey uncovers concerning gaps between C-suite and Supply Chain executives on supply chain value, digital maturity, and integration benefits. These discrepancies call to mind views from the pre-pandemic past, not a modernized and integrated future. Excellent recent article from Deloitte about the evolution of the Chief Supply Chain Officer role. With the continual discussion around advancements in GenAI, the advice of staying ahead of the technology curve without rushing into potentially unscalable solutions really stood out to me, as did the importance of building the workforce of tomorrow, not just today.
