As the guest on this broadcast points out, the West has been telling the world it wants a law-based international order since the end of WW II. But, it has now become clear that the West wants a rule-based international order where the West gets to define the rules. And, they won't tell anyone what those rules are because, that way, the West can make them up as they go along. And, this is costing the credibility of the Israeli state. Since much of the world now sees Israel committing genocide, it will be more difficult to support it in the future. The guest adds that Antony Blinkin's family and 80% of European Jews come from a region encompassing parts of Ukraine and Poland. Thus, they might have a similar world-view and see the situation in the Holy Land the same way. But, in 2024, it has become increasingly necessary to take the Arab position into view. And, this might mean that the leading American diplomat in the region does not have the skills to deal with the conflict. On top of that, as recent events have demonstrated, Israel does not have the technological edge it used to have. The only way out is a political solution that recognizes the legitimate rights of the Palestinians because even America might not be able to defend Israel.

The far-right is emerging with energy, popular communication, and a strong connection to neglected electorates. Its leaders advocate for Western civilization against perceived "Islamic" threats, subscribing to theories like the Clash of Civilizations and the Great Replacement. Notably, Israel is forging ties with far-right European parties, seeing strategic opportunities. However, this alignment risks resurrecting fascism, posing significant threats to Muslim and Jewish communities globally. https://lnkd.in/eBmxKSGE

**One year after October 7, many still struggle to understand the ongoing conflict.** The media coverage, focusing largely on casualties in #Gaza and now #Lebanon, often frames Israel as the aggressor, leaving many to interpret the situation through a moral lens. However, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is deeply complex, shaped by history, politics, and emotion. Konstantin Kisin, who started with little knowledge of the conflict, applied first-principles thinking to break down the arguments on both sides. His analysis, free from emotional bias, is one of the most clear and balanced perspectives I've encountered. ### Key Arguments: **Pro-Palestine:** - Israel’s creation displaced Palestinians, denying their right to self-determination. - Claims of apartheid through systemic discrimination. - Hamas’s violence viewed as legitimate resistance. - The Oslo Accords seen as a failure, advancing Israel's interests. **Pro-Israel:** - Israel was established by UN mandate, with a right to exist. - Hamas is recognized as a terrorist organization. - Israel’s military actions are framed as self-defense. - The Oslo Accords were a step towards peace and a two-state solution. **Kisin summarizes**: "I've engaged with an open mind and in good faith with all the anti-Israel arguments presented to me over the last year on balance I regard them as disingenuous irrelevant and designed to pull at my heartstrings in order to obscure the harsh reality of this conflict. We would respond exactly the way that Israel has the only difference is we would do so with the support of every member of the International Community while Israel has to fight not only the terrorists who want to wipe them off them map for western apologist for those terrorists." I highly recommend taking 12 minutes to listen to his full analysis. It’s worth your time for a deeper understanding. 📹 [Watch here](https://lnkd.in/ezRRsjaJ) And follow his channel for more insightful content! #IsraelPalestineConflict #MiddleEastConflict #GazaCrisis #Geopolitics #HumanRights #PeaceProcess #PoliticalAnalysis StandWithUs

In this powerful and timely interview, we sit down with Emeritus Professor Martin Shaw to discuss the Israel-Palestine conflict, one of the most complex and controversial issues in modern geopolitics. Shaw, an expert on war, genocide, and international relations, provides a critical perspective on the role of Israel, the U.S., and the U.K. in exacerbating the conflict. Throughout this conversation, we tackle some of the most pressing questions: Could Israeli leadership’s rhetoric lead to genocide? How do figures like Benny Morris influence the narrative around Israel’s history? What role does Britain’s colonial legacy play in today’s tensions, and is the International Criminal Court a viable tool for justice? Plus, Shaw explores the potential for a wider war in the Middle East, involving Iran, and speculates on what future U.S. leadership—whether Trump or Kamala Harris—could mean for Palestinians. Whether you're deeply familiar with the Israel-Palestine conflict or new to these discussions, this interview provides crucial insights into the forces shaping this ongoing crisis. https://lnkd.in/ebK4FkuJ

Haaretz published an editorial on June 7, 2024, titled "The Brutalization of Israel Is Well Underway. If We Do Not Act, Its Collapse Is Only a Matter of Time." The piece highlights the grave internal and external challenges confronting Israel, focusing on the threats from increasing extremism and ultra-nationalism within the nation. The editorial argues that unless decisive measures are taken to curtail radical elements and resolve fundamental issues such as the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories, Israel faces an inevitable decline. The article calls on Israeli citizens, civil society, and the international community to take urgent action to reverse this dangerous trajectory before it's too late. It paints a bleak picture of Israel's future, stating that without a concerted effort to change course, the final fall of the nation is imminent. https://lnkd.in/gjbhyG2b

Hamas: How Israel created its own nemesis w/Paola Caridi | The Chris Hedges ReportFundraiser The Real News Network Premiered on 29 Mar 2024 The Chris Hedges Report Hamas, like all resistance groups, from the African National Congress to The Irish Republic Army, are as demonized as they are misunderstood. Hamas is a religious, nationalist political movement. It is not, despite what Israel and Washington say, a terrorist organization—although, like most resistance groups (including the Jewish militias that created the state of Israel), it has used terrorism as a tactic. Because those on the outside do not understand what went into making Hamas—the steady drip of humiliation, violence, and impoverishment that define Israel’s Occupation of the Palestinians—Hamas and its ideology appears incomprehensible. But from the Palestinian perspective, Israel has left the Palestinians with no other choice. Journalist and historian Paola Caridi, author of "Hamas: From Resistance to Regime," joins The Chris Hedges Report to discuss the roots and nature of Hamas, and what we miss when we unthinkingly cast Hamas as nothing more than a terrorist organization. The situation that Trump has inherented in the Middle East and Ukraine are two very hot situations. Each of them however, come with its own set of circumstances. Israel control of US politics will make that conflict much harder to be dispose of. lsrael control of US political policies is the reason the US is in that conflict in the first place. The bottom line in the 21st century as in the 20th century two Jewish inscerections have the world on the brink of WW. The beginning of this mess actually started leading up to, during, and after the event of 911. 911 was the opportunity to attack all of lsrael perceived enemies, which are mostly semitic speaking countries consisting of most if not all of the countries in the Middle East. General Wesley Clark Youtube video titled "American foreign policy Coup" explains the circumstances surrounding these events. Anti-semitics, Zionist like Benjamin Netanyahu at the head of Israel made these circumstances possible. The Zionist are hardliners when it comes to the Arabs, and the rest of the Semitic speaking people of the Middle East. Benjamin Netanyahu was breed and raised through his family consisting of Polish grandfather Natan Mileikowsky, and his Polish father Benzion Mileikowsky to view the Arab world as Savages making peace impossible. Further starting a settlers colony experiment in the mist of non-yiddish speaking Middle Easterns semitic people increased the fear of people like Natenyahu. That along with lsrael expansion needs further made peace impossible. What it seems is that these Yiddish speaking people from Warsaw Poland are a group of Anti-semitic Zionist for whom Netanyahu is one of the oldest living revisionists Zionist. To be swayed by actors posing as News reporters attempting to conflict or hide the situation for nefarious reasons is disingenuous. When a real part of the situation is the egotistical need to control the whole Middle East by any means necessary by a Zionist heads of state who make peace in the Middle East impossible. Political scholars dealing with world political affairs like ex US General Wesley Clark, Professor Jeffery Sacks, professor John Mearsheimer, ex US Colonel Douglas MacGregor, ex US weapons inspector. Major Scott Ritter. Unite Nations policy on occupied territory, etc, etc. all put forth the truth of the situation that now has the US on the brink of WW, if newley elected Donald Trump can avoid it. The only none semetic speaking people in the Middle East is Benjamin Netanyahu, and the rest of the Isrealies. That is why this group is so Anti-semitic. l point this out because it is only a method to STOP THE KILLING. The egotistical notion of these people with the idea of an impunity to kill, now have the US at this point. LETS STOP THIS NONSENSE PUT AN END TO THE UNWANTON GENOCIDE AND GET THE WORLD BACK TO PEACE. May God have mercy on the souls lost during this mayhem.

Israel's ongoing information war against the American people—a calculated strategy aimed at shaping public perception and securing billions in U.S. taxpayer dollars. Drawing from Israeli historian Ilan Pappe's revelations in Lobbying for Zionism, we uncover how military-style propaganda units target American minds and manipulate media narratives to portray Israel as the eternal victim. also explore shocking statistics, such as how Israel receives more U.S. aid than 17 American states and dissect the deeply ingrained biases in mainstream media coverage. Why is this happening? What does Israel gain from controlling American empathy? And most importantly, how can we push back?

How Israel functions as an extension of US Imperial interests | Joseph Massad | UNAPOLOGETIC It’s not just that the US is complicit in this genocide, the US itself is responsible for this genocide”. A year after the events of 7 October, Joseph Massad speaks about Israel's response and what it has all meant and could mean for the region. Massad speaks about how Israel acts as an extension of US imperial policy. His unapologetic analysis is that it’s an “absurd argument” that the US is being dragged into wars it does not want by Israel and rather the the US has “pushed Israel to be more aggressive in the region since 1967”. We also speak about the prospect of regional war and how that will play out, the response of Arab countries which in his view have continued to support Israel, how the media have covered the last year, what has driven the devastation in Gaza, the future of the region and so much more https://lnkd.in/ghMb9-Wg
