https://lnkd.in/eeSaExrr Pro tip! CMMC self-assessment. In the realm of cybersecurity maturity, achieving a "Met" rating in a #CMMC Level 2 Audit is crucial. It requires meeting all objectives for each critical practice. However, there's a provision for less critical practices that are "not met" to be addressed on a Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M). This allowance, which is subject to the discretion of the lead Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) or the Certified Third Party Auditing Organization (C3PAO), provides a grace period of up to 180 days to rectify these deficiencies. Give us a call if you need a hand. #supplychainsecurity

CMMC - Lots of unnecessary Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt (FUD). Regarding CMMC implementation, stick to the facts. (That being said, the primes will motivate their supply chain to be assessed sooner rather than later) DoD posted the CMMC implementation schedule at https://lnkd.in/gQg3yx_w Title 48 CFR starts CMMC Phased Implementation (likely in March 2025 with effective date 60 days later). Phase 1 begins at 48 CFR Rule effective date - Requires Level 1 or Level 2 self-assessment Phase 2 begins 12 months after Phase 1 start - Introduces Level 2 C3PAO assessment requirements for some contracts - Majority of contracts require self-assessment Phase 3 begins 24 months after Phase 1 start - Introduces Level 3 DIBCAC assessments - Increases percentage of Level 2 C3PAO assessments for new contracts Phase 4 begins 36 months after Phase 1 start - Implements CMMC Program for all new contracts and option year awards #CMMC
