Focusing exclusively on performance marketing isn't just strategically risky, but it's also just kinda... boring. Who's talking about a brand's amazing ad buying strategy? It's just not as fun as building creative partnerships with unexpected people. Sure, your ad spend calculations might guarantee that I see your ad, and that's obviously important, but it won't guarantee that I seek your brand out when I'm ready to buy.
