We are thrilled to announce that SPA has acquired Intrepid a leading engineering and technical innovation firm based in Huntsville, AL. Intrepid holds prime positions in the missiles and space, enterprise modernization, and aviation and mission support domains. Intrepid connects SPA to the top two mission priorities for the US Army: integrated battle management and enterprise modernization. As the lead SETA partner on the Army’s Integrated Battle Command System program since inception, Intrepid has played a central role in shaping the Army’s warfighting posture for the foreseeable future, including strengthening homeland missile defense and countering offensive threats in the Indo-Pacific multidomain battlespace. As well, Intrepid’s core capabilities in enterprise modernization deliver system agility, accelerate auditability, and enable multidomain operations for a range of defense-based clients. Mark Vaporis, PMP, longtime Intrepid senior leader and president, will serve as Group Leader of our new Army Integrated Engineering Group.
