Top 10 drugs in advertising spending Recently, famous #FiercePharma released the list of top ten drugs in terms of #advertising spending for 2023. This list was compiled based on the data from the advertising intelligence company #Vivvix, combined with the advertising expenditure data from "Fierce Pharma Marketing" in 2023. From the perspective of individual drugs, the new generation of #autoimmune blockbuster #Skyrizi, with a significant marketing investment from #AbbVie, replaced #Dupixent (dupilumab), a drug jointly developed by #Sanofi and #Regeneron, to become the drug with the highest advertising expenditure in 2023. From the perspective of #pharmaceutical companies, AbbVie had the highest advertising expenditure in 2023, with a 154% year-over-year increase in all advertising expenditures for Skyrizi, and an 18% increase in advertising spending for its second major #immunology product, #Rinvoq, compared to 2022. At the same time, the spending on AbbVie's #bipolardisorder and #majordepressivedisorder drug #Vraylar saw the largest increase, with a significant 337% growth from 2022 to 2023. AbbVie is the only pharmaceutical company with three drug brands in the top ten. Compared to 2022, two pharmaceutical companies saw a decrease in their advertising expenditures: #Takeda Pharmaceutical's gastrointestinal treatment drug #Entyvio decreased by 38%, which is the largest drop among the top 10, and #Pfizer's spending on the #migraine treatment drug #Nurtec #ODT decreased by 18% year-over-year.
