The SOC 3 report - To security and compliance professionals in the B2B space? When you have your SOC 2 Type II completed (which is pretty much a requirement if you are going to sell into the enterprise space)? Please also get a SOC 3 report done, and please post it on your website or trust center, without the need for a NDA or signup - that's a big part of the reason they exist. You are much more likely to get a quick response from my initial and annual security reviews if you do this and make it easier for my team to access important security information quickly and easily, without the need to fill out NDAs and sign up for an account, as is often the case for a SOC 2 Type II report.

You can strategically define the scope to focus on the products and services that are relevant to your customers. Here are key considerations for defining your SOC 2 scope: - Identify Core Systems: Determine which of your systems and applications need a SOC 2. Your SOC 2 doesn’t need to include everything your organization offers. - Trust Service Criteria (TSCs): Select the TSCs that will meet your customer demands and industry standards. - Controls: Define the controls you want to be audited against (you should still customize your controls when using a GRC automation tool). - Third-Party Relationships: Evaluate the impact of third-party vendors and service providers on your security posture. You may need to include these vendors on your SOC 2 report. SOC 2 doesn't have to be a blanket approach. You should tailor your assessment to focus on the areas that matter most to your business.
