The Flexible AI Upskilling Fund pilot scheme will support #SMEs in the Professional and Business Services Sector by match-funding AI skills training for their employees. Through this pilot programme, eligible business can apply for funding for up to 50% of the cost of AI skills training. This is training which supports employees to develop their technical skills and/or understanding of AI to be able to develop, deploy, or use AI in their role. The professional services industry have actively pursued Responsible AI #skills transformations. 🧠 📊 Nearly 3,000 of these users have developed their Responsible AI skills using Workera’s platform. ✅ In their initial assessments, employees proved to be relatively proficient at skills like AI Fairness (45% Accomplished on first assessment) and AI Reliability (39% Accomplished on first assessment), 🔴 while they lacked the same level of proficiency in AI Explainability (14% Accomplished), and Accountability (19%). 📈 The average improvement in proficiency as a score in Responsible AI was 46.7%. This increase was obtained, on average, in 70 days of active learning. That means organizations can reliably increase the number of #ResponsibleAI domain experts in their teams in around three months of upskilling.
