Assess Your Employer Branding in 1 Minute or Less… Using the EMP Test 👇 After working with companies for over 10+ years, I’ve noticed a trend: The strongest employer brands nail three essentials— → Evaluate → Measure, and → Position. Let’s put your employer branding to the test. Grab a pen and a blank page. → Ready? 1️⃣ Evaluate: What matters to your employees? → Can you name the top 3 values your employees care about most? → Are these reflected in your company culture? 2️⃣ Measure: What are the numbers saying? → What’s your current turnover rate? → How does your Glassdoor rating compare to the industry average? → What % of your hires come from employee referrals? 3️⃣ Position: What’s your unique edge? → How are you better than your competitors as an employer? → Can you name 3 benefits or features that set your company apart? → So, how’d you do? Could you confidently answer all three sections? If not: → Try doing this exercise with your team. → Have each person privately answer the questions. → Then compare and align on where you stand—and what needs improvement. If yes: → Great work!
