💭 Starting off this week by watching the "Design Systems Blueprint: Comprehensive Strategies for Success" Masterclass by Jarvis Moore, organised by The Interaction Design Foundation 💠 The session highlighted ways to efficiently work on #designsystems as well as how things could scale smoothly 💡 Highlight of the session for me? Remember that design systems also require some kind of #userresearch

Ever wonder why some user experiences leave a lasting impression while others fade away? ✨ The Peak-End Rule shows us that users remember the most intense moment (the peak) and the final interaction (the end) of any experience. Designing for these moments can turn a functional product into a truly memorable one. 📈💡 At NextLeap, we dive deep into such frameworks and strategies in our Product Designer Fellowship, helping you craft experiences that truly resonate. Ready to level up your design skills? 🔗 Learn more about the fellowship here : https://lnkd.in/gaJpxpzp #UXDesign #UserExperience #PeakEndRule #DesignTips

Thank you so much Tech4Dev for organizing this insightful session on mastering designer case studies. It was very detailed, simple and so on-point. Some of the things that stood out for me that Akinade Akinadeniyi mentioned is that designers should not always try to make perfect case studies and not be afraid to show the messy sides. Also highlight the challenges encountered during the design process. Thank you Oladipupo Khadijat for moderating the session. Really looking forward to more sessions like this 🤗 #tech4dev #productdesign #uxcasestudies

Good design is invisible. When done right, it seamlessly guides the user without them even realizing it. But behind every effortless experience is a lot of thought, iteration, and collaboration. It’s about anticipating needs, solving problems, and making complexity feel simple. What’s one project where your design solution made things easier for the end user? Let’s celebrate the “invisible” impact of great design. #DesignSimplicity #UXDesign #UserCenteredDesign #CreativeProcess"

Caught in the design bubble? 🌐 Being too close to a project might occasionally obscure our judgment. It is critical to take a step back and see our work through new eyes. By collecting external opinions and concentrating on inclusive, accessible design from the start, we ensure that our digital solutions actually satisfy the demands of various users. Accept criticism, encourage user testing, and let's innovate purposefully. Because great design is obvious not only to us, but to everyone. I redesigned the dashboard for Think Exam - A Ginger Webs Company, to solve a critical usability challenge Test schedules shouldn’t feel like solving a puzzle. Yet, the old interface I worked on required users to manually calculate timings and spot overlaps—a clear usability challenge. How do you make time visualization clear and intuitive? The original card-based format increased cognitive load, making scheduling unnecessarily complex. My solution? A clean, calendar-based layout that reduces cognitive effort and provides a clear, intuitive view of test schedules. This approach makes schedules visually accessible and easy to manage at a glance, prioritizing user efficiency and simplicity. #UXDesign #UIDesign #Redesign #UserExperience #ProductDesign #TimeManagement #DesignThinking #ProblemSolving #Usability #InterfaceDesign #Innovation #dashboarddesign
