So much research is wasted, partly because we have this bias around only publishing positive results. These are the findings that get all the attention. But the real finding is that we end up with a bunch of negative data that never see the light of day. Even though it’s valuable scientific knowledge. Even though it would help other scientists from repeating the same unnecessary experiment. But there could be another way: the Registered Reports Model.
