Forward With Fortitude! Delta Sigma Theta commends the decision delivered on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 by the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas that struck down certain provisions of S.B. 1, an egregious Texas law that sharply limits voting access. As we continue our advocacy, this ruling marks a pivotal step in ensuring that every voter, regardless of ability, is treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. It stands as a testament to the power and resolve of our Sorority in championing the rights of those who are marginalized.
