⭐ 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗵𝗗 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 ⭐Right now, our new PhD students are gathered for a two-day kickoff in our PhD School, filled with academic content and social activities where they can get to know each other better. The PhD School is mandatory for the students and at the same time a nice way for us to welcome them. Our approximately 150 PhD students are the engine behind research at DTU Compute, and each year 40-50 new students begin their three-year PhD project at our department. During the kickoff, they will, among other things, be introduced to DTU Compute’s diversity and well-being work, PhD supervision in practice, Popular Science Summary, and Code of Conduct. There is also plenty of time allocated for networking.
