Ebenezer Ikonne’s Post

In a culture that tells us to "do more," "produce more," and "consume more." Where more efficiency and more production are valued highly. Where every moment of our lives is occupied with some activity. Where we're either doing this or doing that. Slowing down is countercultural. Having space for "nothing" is absurd. Refusing to be hurried is an act of rebellion. Yet, there is power in the PAUSE. #sabbaththoughts

When we schedule our lives in 15 min increments, we believe that doing and optimizing those ‘small steps’ is what a good life is. However examination happens outside the time box and distraction of 15-min times. And doing nothing is seen as waste :)
