OpenAI President: "Developing AI worthy of a Pulitzer Prize"...Why? OpenAI Chairman Greg Brockman highlighted the imperative to improve AI's logic and reasoning during his keynote at the SK AI Summit in Seoul. He noted that current models, like GPT-3.5 and GPT-4, lack human-like creativity and inference. OpenAI aims to produce AI capable of achieving prestigious awards such as the Pulitzer Prize, indicating advancements in reasoning and creativity. Their latest model, OpenAI o1, signifies progress in logical reasoning, although it operates at a slower question-answering speed. Brockman discussed the timeline for achieving artificial general intelligence (AGI), indicating that it will be a gradual process rather than an instantaneous breakthrough. He recognized the complexities of human thought and the limitations of existing AI models. OpenAI's focus remains on creating systems that can replicate human reasoning in specific domains, particularly in healthcare, where AI can synthesize diverse specialist knowledge to enhance problem-solving. Additionally, Brockman addressed the growth of AI data centers, citing the challenges of construction costs and energy supply, alongside the opportunities they create for employment. He emphasized the positive social potential of AI and the importance of fostering collective enthusiasm for its benefits. OpenAI envisions establishing dedicated AI data centers to help tackle global challenges. #AI #SouthKorea https://lnkd.in/gYk7yStr
