Wiz pulled out of a $23 billion dollar Alphabet/Google deal? Or did Alphabet/Google pull out? Who knows why this fell apart? 🤔 Whatever the case is, cybersecurity company Wiz is not being bought out (yet?). Google is definitely getting serious about cyber with a move like this. This would have been their biggest acquisition ever. When we talk about the state of cybersecurity, this is what we mean. Big movements! Google didn't want to fall behind Microsoft and AWS in terms of security on their own cloud platform, so this is one big cyber signal from Google: "We are coming for you, MS and AWS." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you're not taking any chances with cybersecurity for your organization, connect with me or click the link for the Proofpoint Voice of the Ciso Report. https://lnkd.in/gUhxKKi2
