One clever hack to get more conversions without spending tons on retargeting ads - Delay firing your retargeting pixel Retargeting puts a cookie on visitors to your website. Then you can show them your ads when they browse other sites. But many visitors just stay a few seconds and bounce. Retargeting these low-quality visitors who didn't really engage is wasting money. My strategy: Only fire the retargeting pixel after visitors spend a decent amount of time on your site - like 30-45 seconds minimum. They need that long to actually understand your brand and offering before deciding to convert.  The logic: - Under 2-4 seconds, people can't make a real buying decision - 30-45+ seconds means they viewed key pages, read info, considered converting Benefits of delaying the pixel: > Smaller but higher-quality retargeting audience  > You only retarget folks who showed real interest > Avoids spending on irrelevant impressions > Boosts click-through and conversion rates > More efficient ad spend How to implement: 1. Check Google Analytics for the average time on site before conversions 2. Tell your developer to delay the pixel firing until that time threshold  3. Get them to add a "micro-conversion" action like newsletter signup to also retarget For example, if the average time on site before converting is 50 seconds for organic traffic, set the pixel delay to 50 seconds minimum for that source. Facebook charges per 1,000 impressions ($1-$20 CPM). Why pay for tons of irrelevant quick bounces that won't convert? Much smarter to tightly retarget only your most engaged visitors. Solid tip. However, do you still believe in running separate retargeting campaigns? How much budget do you normally allocate to these campaigns? Don't the newer campaign formats with Adv+ Audience and ASC campaigns have retargeting sections within them already?
