🚨 BREAKING: Collaborative Robotics secured a fresh $100 million Series B funding, led by General Catalyst and supported by Bison Ventures, Industry Ventures, and Lux Capital, bringing its total funding to $140 million. Yes, humanoids attract attention, but Collaborative Robotics recognizes the challenges in proving their efficacy and scalability, opting instead for machines capable of reasoning like humans. 🧠 The startup, founded two years ago, aims to explore the collaboration between humans and robots, with a system that is neither humanoid nor a mobile manipulator mounted to an autonomous mobile robot (AMR). So, we still don't know what their robot will look like and we don't know what to expect. I want to know the design of the robot! Brad Porter and his team can be mysterious, but this builds even more tension and anticipation! 👀 Robotics has been doing great in recent times. Only one thing is certain - gotta catch 'em all! ⚡️ P.S. What is your guess on the design? ~~~ ♻️ Repost to help 1 robot find a new workplace. 🔔 Don't click any bell to be notified. I want you to sleep well. 📢 I also make some robot jokes on Twitter: https://lnkd.in/guH6PRzg
