Last week, we had the honor to hold a seminar with National Biotechnology Research Park, Biomedical Translation Research Center, and Molecular Devices, to explore the potentials, future trends and revolution of organoids and organ-on-chips on new drug development. Hsian-Jean Chin, Director General, National Laboratory Animal Center, National Applied Research Laboratories, NARLabs said, those "human-based models" are not aim to totally replace animal models. Instead, they can be complementary solutions with animal models, as to overcome the translational gap and realize precision medicine. https://lnkd.in/gVqpS_Wv #organoid #OrganOnAChip #3R #AnimalModel #NBRP #NARLabs
