📢 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬! 🚨 Team Foundations have an unparalleled opportunity to drive fan engagement while raising critical funds for their causes. Recently, teams like the Boston Red Sox, Seattle Mariners, and Arizona Diamondbacks have shown the success of these approaches—and Jays Care Foundation took it to the next level. During this year’s charity auction, Jays Care exceeded its fundraising target by 25% through a blend of strategic promotions and a dynamic Marketplace. Here’s how they achieved it: 🏟️ 𝐈𝐧-𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐈𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠: Giving fans the chance to physically interact with the auction items sparked immediate engagement. 📱 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐀𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Commentators crafted content specifically for social media and TV, building buzz around the auction. 📺 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐕 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Sportsnet featured select auction items above the score during live broadcasts, bringing the action directly into viewers’ homes. 🤳 𝐉𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐐𝐑 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐬: In-stadium fans had direct access to the auction by simply scanning on-screen QR codes during the game, making it simple for anyone to get involved. 🤖 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐥𝐥: The Jays Marketplace allowed anyone—inside the stadium or at home—to view and bid on items. The success hinged on one key factor: 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞. This platform connected all touchpoints, creating a seamless experience for fans and simplifying participation. By leveraging the full potential of these promotional channels, Jays Care Foundation exceeded expectations. For any team Foundation looking to enhance its fundraising strategy, this is the playbook to follow. 📍bluejays.auctions.mlb.com

$26 Million Dollars?! That is the amount MET GALA raised this year. Everyone is eating MET Gala looks but what is it and how much does it cost to get in? It is the biggest fundraising event held by the Metropolitan Museum for their costume institute and the raised money is used to restore the historical art, renovate and facilitate development. These are some MET GALA facts that will blow your mind: —> MET Museum is home to a collection of 33,000+ pieces of clothing, jewellery and accessories that documents fashion which are as old as 1400s. —> Every year the gala is funded by big names like Apple and Instagram and this year TikTok and Loewe were the sponsors —> The cost of just one ticket is $75,000 Dollars and the dinner table for 10 cost starts around $350,000. And interestingly what happens inside the Gala is a big secret! The guest are not even allowed to carry their phones inside the museum. Despite the "No Selfie Rule" celebrities like Billie Eilish and Kylie Jenner have started the tradition of taking an annual selfie in the Met Bathroom. These pictures have become viral for their grouping of celebrities who are rarely seen in the same room as each other. Don’t you think the hype about it is insane? #event #entertainmentindustry

When the Arts Issue Feb 2021 was first seen, everyone including us knew that we had something special. In celebration of Embrace Magazine's 5th anniversary, and by show of interest after announcing the magazine is on indefinite hiatus pending a partner or purchase, I have decided to reshare each issue once a month in order of publication! Here is the Arts Feb 2021 Issue (3rd one published of 12): https://lnkd.in/eHnkdb3 I initially reshared the first two issues in hopes that a partner or purchaser can be found. Now I am doing something entirely different. ANNOUNCEMENT: I have decided to restructure Embrace Magazine into a nonprofit business model. I will develop a foundation and transfer the asset, Embrace Magazine, from Sotomayor Media Creations LLC to the foundation. The foundation has yet to be created or given a name. Once done, we will not seek advertisers, rather we will seek tax-exempt donations. Please share with those who you think may be interested or can help. All recent contributors — writers, photographers, and designers — have confirmed interest in continuing if I give the green light, based on securing a new form of funding. All 12 published issues reshared once per month will hopefully indicate what the power of the publication could present if published once a month. I am capable and interested in doing so with funding. Some of the content is timely to the period it was published while other content is timeless. Each issue will be reshared on the 1st of the month. If interested in sponsorship or donations, or you have a lead to one, please message me in Direct Message. To see all issues, visit the website here: https://lnkd.in/ea-S9MM3 Thank you, please enjoy, and share feedback in public comments if you desire!

Recap: We offered 1€ for every wishlist of our game, ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard for charity during the large German charity event "Friendly Fire" on Dec 7th, in cooperation with our publisher, PM Studios. Some stats: - Trailer was shown during the preshow and seen by 20k concurrent viewers - The show peaked at around 78k concurrents - Our main spot was shown at around 11pm German time, with 60k concurrents: The hosts showed the trailer and explained what we are donating to the audience - We got >8,000 wishlists in that slot, pretty crazy viewer to conversion rate imho - The social media postings before the event brought in around 2,000 additional wishlists - The logo of ChromaGun 2 rotated the whole 12 hours at the bottom right of the stream - There was a chat command "!chromagun" that explained our deal - Disclaimer: The conversion rate of these wishlists isn't going to be fantastic as soon as ChromaGun 2 launches. As it's for a good cause, I really like this as a marketing event and believe it is worth the investment, even if we don't get a (financial) ROI on this. If you want to copy this marketing idea, please do so and send a DM to Lena Laaser who is organising the event :)

As well as opening up our USA office, this year we’ve also been busy cooking up something really special. Due for release this coming January, I’m so excited for all our amazing clients to experience Emma 2.0. This summer myself and the Emma team had the pleasure of collaborating with the brilliant Lars van Susteren to completely review the Emma platform and how we work with it. We looked at our own experiences and consulted with some of our clients to get a 360 overview of what was working best and what could be improved. After months of consultation and workshopping, still continuing to deploy new functionality and features in the original Emma AND supporting our charity partners through another summer and winter season of events, I thought it would be worth sharing a sneak preview of what to look forward to in the new Emma: 📱 Microsites with a newer, sleeker look and feel. 💻 A re-imagined back end with more intuitive layout and fewer clicks required to make changes. 🪄 A event set-up wizard to guide you through creating a new event, offering pre-defined templates so you won’t need to start from scratch each time you build an event. 🧠 An even more helpful Emma - with the introduction of Emma Intelligence (EI) you’ll now be able to auto-generate auction item titles and descriptions, and EI will take care of categorising your items too! Continually developing the platform and pushing technology as far as it can go has been one of the main pillars of Emma’s ethos ever since we first conceived of the idea. We want to make sure that charities are no longer underserved by their tech and revolutionise the way events and fundraising are managed. With Emma 2.0 we’ll be one more step closer to that revolution! Better never stops and to learn more about this update please drop me a line: [email protected]

Does a charity auctioneer really need to spend the time understanding the cause of the charity? 🤔 The answer is a big whopping YES!!! There is a significant difference between hiring a professional who takes the time to understand the charity’s mission and goals versus someone who simply treats the event as just another auction. Here’s why understanding the charity is essential: 1. Passionate Advocacy An auctioneer who invests time in understanding the charity becomes a passionate advocate for the cause. Their genuine enthusiasm resonates with the audience, inspiring guests to engage more deeply and give generously. This connection makes a huge impact on the overall success of the event. 2. Tailored Messaging Understanding the charity enables the auctioneer to craft a message that aligns with its mission and values. This personalized approach ensures that the auctioneer can effectively communicate the importance of each item and its relevance to the charity, making the auction feel more authentic and compelling. 3. Building Trust with Donors Donors are more likely to contribute when they feel that the auctioneer truly understands and believes in the cause. An auctioneer who is knowledgeable about the charity builds trust with the audience, creating a more credible and engaging experience that encourages guests to support the charity wholeheartedly. 4. Connecting with the Community An auctioneer who understands the charity can connect with the community on a deeper level. They can share stories and insights that resonate with the audience, reinforcing the impact of their donations and motivating them to contribute more to support the charity's work. 5. Maximising Fundraising Potential Ultimately, an auctioneer who is aligned with the charity’s mission can maximize fundraising potential. By conveying the significance of each donation and illustrating how contributions make a difference, they can inspire greater generosity and achieve better financial outcomes for the charity. Choosing an auctioneer who takes the time to understand your charity is an investment in the event’s success. Their ability to advocate passionately and connect with the audience creates a powerful and meaningful experience, ensuring that your charity auction reaches its full potential. A case study clip from Spear Islington, which helps young disadvanged people into employment 🤩 #CharityAuction #Fundraising #Auctioneer #MissionDriven #CommunityImpact #EventSuccess

Centered is a logo that reads, 'Fundable, Just Imagine.' The 'Fund' of Fundable has a bubble effect that mimics some of the background of the graphic. The 'Able' of fundable mimics the Able South Carolina logo. This is followed by additional text, 'Nov. 15, 6 - 10 pm, Central Energy, 2030 Gregg St. Columbia, SC,' The text is surrounded by fluffy clouds and swirling ribbons in blues, purples, and pinks. Able SC's matching 30th anniversary logo is centered at the base. Note from the designer: This is my interpretation of what imagination could look like where pieces of thought and things we know about the world (represented by clouds) are entangled with the things we know nothing about (represented by the ribbons and particles) to form connections between our experiences, memory and creativity.]
