Building on the success of the MICROCARD project, and for the next 2.5 years, this initiative will: 🫀 Focus on cutting-edge numerical modeling of cardiac electrophysiology at the cellular scale. 🌟 Develop simulation tools for cardiology research and extend their applications to other biological systems, such as nerves, muscles, the eye, and the brain. Congratulations to Hermenegild Arevalo, Aslak Tveito, and Xing Cai for leading this important work. 🌟 Celebrating a Milestone in Telerobotic Coronary Angiography! 🌟  Last March, we partnered with Dr. Ryan Madder and Alessandro Candreva to conduct a feasibility study on telerobotic coronary angiographies. Dr. Madder conducted a series of navigational challenges from five different locations in Michigan in a model in Zurich.   We are proud that his work and the work of others has been published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, in an article titled "Transatlantic Telerobotic Coronary Angiography: A Pre-clinical Feasibility Study".  The research explores the feasibility of performing telerobotic invasive coronary angiography (ICA) between separate continents, showcasing the potential of advanced robotic systems in overcoming geographical barriers in healthcare.  👏 Kudos to the authors:  Ryan D.
