InGeo Design LTD’s Post

Metrolinx GO Lakeshore East Rail Corridor We’re thrilled to showcase our latest contribution to the Lakeshore East rail corridor, the second busiest Metrolinx GO rail line. To accommodate the addition of a new fourth track, key bridges at Danforth Avenue, Warden Avenue, and Woodbine Avenue were being widened and reinforced. InGeo Design played a pivotal role in this project by designing the micropile retention systems and soldier pile and lagging systems for these crucial crossings. Our expertise ensured the integrity and stability of the infrastructure through precise tieback stressing and comprehensive overnight shoring installation observation. We also supported our client’s submission to Metrolinx ensuring strict compliance with Metrolinx and AREMA standards.
