A Yield ratio of 1:5 means that for every 1 candidate who is hired, 5 candidates were interviewed or considered at the previous stage. In other words, the yield ratio of 1:5 indicates that the recruitment process has a conversion rate of 1 hire for every 5 candidates who made it to the interview stage.
