Today, I begin a new chapter in my journey at Cemex, stepping into the role of Chief Executive Officer after 29 years with the company across multiple regions and functions. I’m deeply grateful to our Chairman, Rogelio Zambrano, and the Board of Directors for their trust and confidence, and to Fernando González for his leadership over the years. I also want to thank my family and the many colleagues whose support has brought me to this moment.   Cemex is at a pivotal inflection point. Having successfully met our deleveraging objectives and substantially rebalancing our geographic portfolio, we are now well-positioned to transition from financial stabilization to sustained growth. Our strategic focus will be on expanding in the United States, enhancing shareholder value, and continuing to create long-term, positive impact for all our stakeholders.   As CEO, my initial areas of focus are clear: strengthening operational excellence, becoming more agile and efficient, and ensuring we are creating more value for investors, customers, and employees alike. I know the path ahead will be full of challenges, but I feel ready to lead, to learn, and to work alongside our incredible Cemex team!
