Josh Goode’s Post

To borrow a quote from a fellow CIO friend, part of leadership is knowing when to lead and when to step aside.  It is with mixed emotions that I share my decision to embark on my next career chapter, passing the reins of SCAN's technology journey to someone new.  While today is my last full time day at SCAN, I'll be serving as a senior advisor for the next 3 months. Looking back on my 11+ years as the CIO of SCAN, I have had the honor to have worked with remarkable leaders/bosses in Sachin H. Jain, MD, MBA, Chris Wing, Bill Roth and with an exceptional team. Together, we have achieved incredible milestones, from rebuilding SCAN’s technology ecosystem, supporting the launch of new clinical ventures, to building a stellar technology organization, to name a few. Our accomplishments over the years have not only served our members well, but also our employees and partners. I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support and dedication of my colleagues. Your contributions have made a meaningful impact, and I am confident that SCAN's technology future is bright and in capable hands. As for me, I am excited to spend quality time with my family, explore new adventures through travel and start the search for my next career chapter.   Thank you all for the wonderful memories!
