Core network architecture evolution Ericsson believes that 6G should be specified in standalone mode only* 🧊Beyond bit-pipes – new opportunities on the 6G platform The role of network platforms -Communication is a cornerstone of all forms of digital business, with networking capabilities setting the boundaries for what can be achieved. In a recent trial in Boston, Verizon moved 1.6 Tb/s of data in its live fiber network on a single-carrier wavelength using Ciena’s WaveLogic 6 Extreme (WL6e) coherent optical solution. “AI is contingent on analyzing billions of data points in real-time on an ongoing basis.
