1844 MORPHING for FORM FINDING -Gautam Shah https://lnkd.in/dMk3XbiP Morphing is used in the Architecture for ‘Form finding’. It is used in many different manners. It relates, to altering the relationships between several shapes, finding a way to join several forms into an integrated whole, alter the connection between foreground and background to form new scale for depth. Form finding is required for designing complex entities, involving multiple functional units. Antonio Gaudi, morphed several elemental shapes by rotation over different axises. Many modern day designers persist with the functional units of a building, but, morph them together to generate a comprehensive or holistic form.
