In full protection and serving of people, we need to reflect, plan and strategize and utilize all the angels of information in our decision making. Particularly even more important if it is a country level decisions. We always need to reflect, supportive and speak up to ensure all the public services based decisions are fully reflected with lives of people on the ground. For those like us who has access to people in leadership roles, mechanisms and platforms, we must speak up for people. 🌹🤝💪🇲🇲

Last month, we shared RWJF's Plain Language Dashboard (https://lnkd.in/gDD4V8EY) which breaks down complicated policy documents so that they are easier to understand. Find out more why #plainlanguage is important below:
To expand the conversations on structural racism and health, we need to lead with values and we need to keep it simple. Using jargon or fuzzy language doesn’t bring people closer together to solve issues of equity. We need to use plain language. As M. Allyn Brooks-LaSure shared at BMe’s Next Narrative Summit last month, communications professionals should always strive to be clear, cohesive, and consequential. Tell us how you've used plain language in your work. What has helped you and your organization communicate more directly and clearly?

Hard questions can be really hard to ask if you can’t find people who get it, especially when growing up with the stress and stigma of a parents substance use. Whether it’s at conferences, workshops, peer sessions, over zoom, in person, or email-from youth with lived experience to leaders with lived experience, we get questions all the time, and so we want to give answers in a way that will reach those who aren’t ready to ask out loud yet. Check out the questions asked previously, ask a question we will answer, and share our NEW peer q&a section of our website-always by us, for us. https://lnkd.in/gSxw6rqf
