Last week, Lifepoint and PeaceHealth officially broke ground on an inpatient rehabilitation hospital to be located near International Way in Springfield, Oregon. The stand-alone 66,000-square-foot building will feature the region’s first traumatic brain injury unit and increase capacity over PeaceHealth and Lifepoint Rehabilitation’s current 27-bed unit at nearby PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend.
