To continue using SQL Server 2014 and maintain security you have two options: 1. 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 (𝐄𝐒𝐔) for one year: This option provides additional security updates for an extended period (up to three years). 2. Microsoft SQL Server 2014 will reach the end of its 10-year lifecycle on July 9, 2024. After that date, Microsoft will no longer issue any updates. Keep using SQL Server 2014 is a risk.
