Ever felt like this dog, sitting in a burning room, telling yourself "This is fine"? Yeah, that’s imposter syndrome for you. And when it hits, who do you turn to for help? Or did you just carry on, hoping it would magically go away? But the truth is, it just kept gnawing at you, affecting your performance and your sanity. You wouldn’t tell your manager (even if they’re awesome), but could they help you even if you did? In the past 6/7 months, I've asked lot's of Sales Leaders if they've faced imposter syndrome and I'm still waiting on a 'no'... in fact I lie there was one and you definitely know who you are 👀 But it's not just the leaders. MySalesCoach's survey of over 1,000 SDRs revealed that 46% struggle with imposter syndrome which perhaps is not surprising when you consider the prospecting landscape currently and how much it's changed in the last few years! Imposter syndrome is a hot topic in our coaches' 1:1 sessions at MySalesCoach. Not only can they help you to identify it, they can also help equip you with strategies to manage and conquer it. Sometimes, just talking to someone who gets it can start turning the game around. Or, you know, you could just keep saying, "This is fine." If you're reading this post and thinking 'this sounds a lot like me', drop me a DM and let's talk 😊 #salescoaching #sales

Love to hear more from the person who has not experienced it. Imposter syndrome can be a good thing if it’s framed the right way. Cracking share Lucy.

Andy Whyte frames this beautifully - you can only ever get imposter syndrome if you are highly self aware and in a high stage of growth (which is naturally going to feel uncomfortable). He did a podcast recently with an incredible VP of zscaler which talks about it so well - worth a listen
