I read 500+ books in 2024. Here’s how I did it… Step 1: Have a 3-year-old Step 2: Make sure your books include as many pictures as possible Step 3: Read "The Gingerbread Man" 50+ times Step 4: Perfect your different character voices Step 5: Accept that half of your “reading” is just reciting Brown Bear, Brown Bear from memory. Step 6: Master the art of skipping pages, only to be immediately called out by your tiny book critic Step 7: Hide the books you find boring or say that they are broken Step 8: Pretend you’re reading, but just making up the story because your toddler can’t read… yet. Step 9: Realize your child has one favorite book, and it must be read every single night, for a month straight Step 10: Repeat nightly until you qualify for a preschool book club. #girldad
This is fantasitc haha. This was my absolute favorite to my kids, they didn't really get it but made me laugh every time. https://www.amazon.com/Wolfs-Story-Really-Happened-Little/dp/0763627852
I’m a master! I should create a course- oh wait- you just did!! 😅👏👏 I love this so much! #IsYourMamaLlama
Matt got me, too! However, as much as I like business books, the ones Matt was reading with his daughter are the ones that will matter in the long run. 🙂
You got me! I remember those days well...and all my adult children are avid readers. Go dad!!
I knew you could do it! Proud of you Matt Reiners 🫡
🤣🤣🤣
You are so well-read, Matt Reiners! 😂 Loosely related (bordering on unrelated), but you gotta watch SNL50’s Scared Straight skit with Eddie Murphy, Kenan Thompson, Jason Sudeikis, and Will Ferrell. Will Ferrell’s character is Big Red because uh - he’s “well-read.” (I swear it’s hysterical.)
yes, a fair amount of my daughters books are "out of battery"
we loved brown bear brown bear!!!

3wI'd also add, read the book upside down if you want a funny reaction.
