Stoked to learn this transit campaign I created won a 2023 American Graphic Design Award from GDUSA Magazine. I wrote this as a contract copywriter for MTG. We freelancers and contract creatives work our magic then hand our “babies” off to the agencies that bring us in to save the day—but we don't always get to see the finished work, where our ideas live, or how well they perform. So finding this out was a welcome surprise. Another bonus, the campaign ran in Chelsea, 2 blocks from my old NYC apartment. Creative directors and brand managers, don't forget to share finished work with the freelancers who help you create it, especially when it's doing well.
