Sorry, I was wrong and I accept full responsibility! Doesn’t this sound refreshing? Unfortunately, some political leaders and businesses leaders do not have the humility to admit that they may be wrong and accept responsibility for the consequences of their decisions or actions. It is not a weakness to admit when you have made mistakes. No one expects anyone to bat a thousand. I believe that people would have more respect for their leaders if their communications were honest and transparent. Too much spin and deflection just creates distrust and loss of credibility. Next time, you may just want to say………. Sorry, I screwed up.
