Supporting a child with disabilities requires robust and reliable government support. Over on the CPG website we’ve reviewed the main parties’ manifestos to highlight their commitments to children with special educational needs and families with disabled children. It’s crucial for families to evaluate these proposals and choose the policies that best align with their needs and aspirations. 🔗 Read more about what each party promises in their manifestos in the link below. #UKElection2024 #DisabledChildren #FamilySupport #SpecialEducationalNeeds #ElectionManifestos #Vote2024

In every Australian state and territory, children are criminalised and imprisoned every day by youth justice systems that are unfit for purpose and cause active harm. This is a national issue and a national responsibility. Save the Children Australia and 54 reasons' submission to the current Senate inquiry makes the case for a national response and a better system - one that respects rights, addresses root causes, and ultimately makes the community safer. It outlines the reforms needed to achieve this, including the role of the Federal Government. As the scores of other expert submissions make clear, the reforms required are fundamental but they are also entirely known and achievable - all that's needed is a willingness by governments to act. #childrights #youthjustice https://lnkd.in/gbnACEfQ
