NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti’s Post

A stunning exercise in creativity, using truly unconventional materials. Intergraf Currency+Identity offers the largest conference and exhibition in the industry, a unique, non-profit platform that brings together central banks, governments, identity document issuing authorities, security suppliers and industry specific digital solution providers. For their 2025 edition in Milan, Intergraf collaborated with a group of NABA BA in #SetDesign students, led by lecturer Emilia Zagnoli, for the creation of 10 unique outfits showcased at Intergraf Currency+Identity on 5 March at Allianz MiCo - Milano Convention Centre. Opening the event, the students involved in the project—Noga Haker, Ruth Lina Hallgren, Ava Anna Kealy, Anna Colombo, Aysha Ibrahimbayova, Aleksandra Bastek, and Gabriela Rodriguez Rolon—took to the runway wearing #costumes crafted from highly unconventional materials provided by the participating exhibitors from #Intergraf. These included banknote samples, security documents, threads, coins, molded lenses, passport samples, ID cards, and more. Each of the 10 #outfits was inspired by an iconic character of #Milan, from the waitress, the fashionista, and the commuter to the businesswoman, the ice cream kid, the urban madman, the tourist, the street performer, the girlfriend, and the boyfriend. The result? A truly distinctive collection of outfits, each telling a unique story—discover it all on our YouTube channel: https://lnkd.in/dEwqs2gq
