Sharing a couple of new comparative genomics tools made by Artyom Egorov in my group! First we have loVis4u for visualising and comparing phage genomes (or other genomic regions). It sensitivity identifies protein homology and outputs beautiful vector graphics https://lnkd.in/dtKVb_cD Then we have iLund4u, which automatically finds regions of diversity (islands or hotspots) where for example virulence, mobile genetic element defence or counter defence can be encoded. https://lnkd.in/dX3_vw4U

I am happy to announce that our two papers accepted at ETS'24 are now available on IEEEXplore: The first paper focuses on using a new approach based on Genetic Programming to generate Test Programs for System-Level Test (SLT), maximizing the power consumption of our DUT. https://lnkd.in/e4fP5Uyj The second paper demonstrates that we can use Large Language Models to generate programs for SLT that instead target the Instructions per Cycle of our DUT in microarchitectural simulation. For this purpose, we have fine-tuned a model based on Meta's Llama 2. https://lnkd.in/eUcHccMj
